We are hoping to keep
the ratio of Players to NPCs  at 2 to 1.
 
This will help us not burn ourselves out as fast,
offer a wider variety of targets and fighting styles,
and help spread the love of a good 'ole fashion LARP SLUGGFEST! 
So come to the Dark Side (ya'll knew it was coming) and don the Duchy Red.  NPC's will not only get the same CP as the Players, but it would be for a fraction of the cost!!

What is WAR DAY?

Planning this event began over two years ago.  One night, sitting around Davis' kitchen table, Jay began a conversation about wanting to do a one-day, one-shot, combat heavy. KB event.  From this, the idea of the war day was born.  Then we started looking at current plot lines and such.  And from this discussion, we turned toward the idea of  the King's uncertainty of his Kingdom's care came up and the Coronation Dinner came into being.   

And then, about a year later, a Player's sincere letter found its way to the attention of the King.  This citizen asked to be allowed to take the fight to the Duchy.   We really liked this letter and went back to our original notes and ideas for a war day, and decided now seemed like the right time to roll something like this out. 


Located in the Duchy, behind enemy lines, an unknown town is about to be thrust into the annals of  history . . .   



The OOG details:
Camp Nahaco, located in Eastford, CT,  (site of  CRO)
will provide the locale for this Duchy town.

  • Opening Meeting     10:00 AM - 10:30 AM
  • Game On                   10:30 AM - 7:30 PM
  • Closing Meeting         7:30 PM
  • a yummy OOG Pig Roast (yep I said it)    8 - 10 ish

Other OOG information:
  • Lunch will be an IG mechanic.  We will feed you, but while you eat, the game is still on.  Be Alert!
  • Feel free to bring extra beverages, snacks that you may feel you could use to keep you going.  Please do your best to keep them IGish.  No modern backpacks, coolers, . . . ..  You guys will be on the move for most of the day, so there won't be a place/time to set up cooking fires and what not.
  • Please let us know if there are any dietary issues with the menu.  We will do our best to try to accommodate them.
