So i was trying to get fancier with my holy symbol, rather than just painted wood, and was hoping to get something a little more sturdy (to show devotion to the light of course, praise Halcyon!) Would a necklace with a 2" diameter pendant made of silver work if i added the symbol of the deity? Silver is like the white of metals right?

The symbol has to be white. The picture you are showing, while very nice, is gold and silver. Silver is not white, however. It is more silvery. You can fashion this into the symbol if you like, but you'd have to have an actual one on you as well. Say, for example, that you make this one and wear it around your neck and have the actual one in your pocket. The rule book has a better description of this than I am doing justice to.

so you'd have to make sure that the whole thing is painted white. and the design on the back isn't there. and it has to be a solid disk, but it appears to be.
