As much as a town council is useful, it will not work for actual leadership. I understand many of you think you are intelligent and even rational, but most people are neither. People need leadership, otherwise you have chaos, and even worse, Mob rule. as nice as it is to think everyone can hold hands and sing songs and work out their problems, it won't work. we have seen people push for that before under the guise of "teamwork" only to have the same people flip out and start killing anyone who disagreed with them. People are stupid and need leadership.
