To Decree a Leader! - TheLoreWeaver - 10-04-2016

I made scare my voice in the realm of political discord regarding the town for I try only to speak and act when all is known. So listened I did, and heard many perspectives, all in conflict and not one praise given to this Jan who only now do I hear the name of.

I hear the complaints, that leadership is needed, that we now live in a time of ever growing danger. I see small groups gather around their pillar's and claim rite. Patterns well repeated to the rise of one ill fit.

A leader must not be chosen with haste, but with careful and tactical decision. Yet I see no such structure for decisions to be made. Rather it would appear that the decisions of leadership are being made on densely packed tables stuffed away in dark corners, by petty arguments held only on bulletins like this and read only by sparing few, or worst of all, by letter secreted away from the masses.

If a leader is to be chosen let it be done so formally before the attending and physically present masses. Let is be debated with thunderous voices so all may hear and let it be mediated by a speaking party. Than let the decision be held only temporarily, two gathers will they rule for after. A second election held to decide the worth of the leader chosen. Where the township may voice praise and complaint, mediated once more by the neutral party!

Let also each who would declare them self leader decide by what method and by what order they will rule. Let nothing remain secret of their intent. If they desire to be an unquestioned king say it so or be met by the judgement of the town ship come the said secondary election.

Let them declare the structure to their rule, by what agents they wish to delegate tasks to. Will they hide behind a magistrate or speak directly to the people as a leader should. Shall they work with or apart from the guilds? Declare it so, should ye' wish to name your self master of men!

Let us decide here how a leader would be chosen and at last settle this debate so we may move on, united! I warn you now, that I post this bulletin not to argue meaninglessly but to resolve a system of decision. So accept what I present here or offer compromises and we shall make it so fit that the method of election is fair.

By stating the above I renounce the decisions made in secret in hopes of inspiring others to follow like minding in the effort and ideology of a better, safer future.
