It's been too long since we've had a celebration!

Battle of the Bards! 

My fine townsfolk, I have heard your songs, witnessed your acting, laughed with your jokes

But who could be deemed the greatest bard? the mightiest jester? the cleverest fool!?

At our next gathering, Saturday at 8 bells, in the culdesac, I will host this grand competition that I invite all decent folk to try their hand in

The entry fee is a simple 2 gold, for each performance of 5 minutes at most! to be judged by myself, and 1 other judge

To the winner of this tournament goes the crown of the mighty minstrel, deeming you the best boisterous battling bard in all of Wayfare Township, and an entire death token! because with talent like that, we can't let you die!

Tell us jelly jostling jokes, sing us your sick siren songs, give us your tall tantalizing tales, act out your sordid soliloquy, do a daring dagger dance!

I invite those not participating to come and watch, give those battling a cheer, your love, your tears, you applause

we'll have some booze for the celebration
