Hi Everybody!

I'm happy to announce that Knight Blades will be holding their events at Camp Pomperaug in Union CT.

Our next priority will be securing dates for the 2022 season.  I will be submitting dates to the camp within the week.  Once those dates are confirmed, I will make an announcement.

We had the pleasure of touring the camp earlier today.  I would describe it as rustic but sturdy.  There will be some logistical changes we'll have to make, but I'm pretty sure we will be able to provide a quality game to our players.

I've been working on, with staff input, some ideas to streamline things on our end.  That goal is to allow us to focus more on event planning and bringing even more excitement, adventure, and danger for your characters.  We're looking at some skills and costuming requirements that need adjustment.  Finally, we've been discussing the In-Game Plot for the move to the new location.  There will be announcements regarding these topics once I'm satisfied we've done our best for you and the game.

So, in closing, I hope you're getting as excited for Knight Blades as I am!

Hi Everybody!

I hope this finds you all well and looking forward to returning to Game. We've all been through a really trying time lately and our wish is that you and your loved ones fared well.

Now, let's go over Knight Blades and its status.

The Staff met and had some very serious and lengthy discussions regarding the direction and future of Knight Blades. It was decided that I will be taking the reigns and become Game Master and Owner of Knight Blades.  Fear not, all current Staff is remaining on board, including Jay with a new role.  I couldn't let him head off into the sunset because I can't imagine this game without his influence.

As new Owner/Game Master, you shouldn't bother Jay with the things that are associated with that position. Please, come to me with your concerns and inquiries, I'm more than happy to help and looking forward towards our new adventures.

Our primary goal is to have four events in 2022 and we are actively in the process of securing a new camp.

There will be some other minor changes to the game, but those announcements can wait. We really are focused on our camp issue, and hope to make an announcement soon!

Hi Everybody,

I unfortunately must announce, the Knight Blades Staff has decided to postpone/cancel our upcoming event.  

Our Spring 2 event was scheduled for May 29-31, 2020 at Eagle Pass camp. 

Again, this decision didn’t come lightly.  It pains us to be away from something we love so deeply.  Something we do to pass the time and forget about the stressful situations of the real world, for the briefest of moments.  We have formed bonds amongst our players and NPCs in one way or another over all these years.  Many of you feel like family.  We always look forward to playing with you, and meeting new people to our favorite hobby.  

Don’t despair!  As soon as we believe it is safe to gather, WE WILL ALL come together again.  Stay safe, stay healthy, stay kind, and stay positive so that our little corner of the LARP community can take on the challenges of the game, after we’ve defeated the challenges of this current world crisis.

Please check our forums for updates, from us, regarding rescheduling and future events.  We will post any decisions we make as soon as it is possible.

In light of the current situation, the deadline to purchase Yearly Packages for 2020 will be extended to the start of the May 2020 event.
 
All 2020 Yearly Package purchasers will be credited one event for the year 2021.

Knight Blades will be holding its events with the following prices:

• Pre-Reg for First-time Player Event - $70.00
  
• Pay at Check-In for First-time Player Event - $80.00
  
• Pre-Pay for Event - $90.00
  
• Pay at Check-In for Event - $100.00
  

All CP/MP for Pre-registration, attending & Clean-up has been added.  The ESS cp will be added once they are completed.  If I missed anyone please post in your personal forum.  Thank you!

The Event Summary Survey has been posted to your personal forum.  If I may have missed you, send a Private Message to me, or please post something in your Personal Forum.  I will then provide you with a link so you can take the survey. 
 
The ESS will be open until Wednesday October 30, 2019 and completing it will earn you 5 CP.  Please take the time to complete the survey; it definitely helps us to improve the game.
