I am right along side you Freelik , I do not care for this talk at all! My son is going to trial and I shall stand beside him during. I have been sent couriers regarding my lack of a response on this board . I fail to see how my silence on this issue , a FAMILY....A HOUSE ISSUE is anyone's concern but my own and my houses . I will respond when I damn well please !

Oh boy.
So, no one is going to be in trouble if they're not up to date or careless. I'm pretty confident that anyone who would take position of power, be it Aster in our current circumstance or anyone who may follow (after) her, would hold any of that against anyone. People have varying interests, not everyone will be focused on politics or what happens in town legally or illegally. That's like me saying - anyone who DOESN'T have an interest in smithing, can't purchase from me or use any of my weapons.
Things weren't handled properly in regards to this sure, people got a little excited and a lot of things got mixed up. And I'm not necessarily speaking about here specifically. Aster's council is still very new and has a ways to go before everything runs smoothly. Consideration on trials and hearings wasn't anything predetermined, we had ideas, we had arguments, and we've had some agreements. Mostly, people were concerned about providing information on the Tavern boards for anyone to see, hence the hesitation in doing so. In addition, my personal admissions were done so not but a few hours prior to the postings here.
Or...it might have been a day...I think I'm working too much!
I'm not certain how things will progress from here, or how Aster wishes to approach these things. I'm not her! But, as one of the peoples involved - I can at least attest to most of that.
On the flip though - I do think it was at least somewhat beneficial. Least we kind of all got our thinkies out there, right? And Aster knows what and who to look to and at.
Dulled swords can be sharpened!
And to clarify, I'm taking neither side. I agree with both, we all have viable opinions on this matter which are all equally important.

Oddly enough i find myself agreeing with ransom. Things have been crazy and the council is very new. It takes time for things to be set and fixed. All i ask is for some patience. I understand the frustration and the anger. However we havent officially decided how we are settling things. There is no secrets and if someone wants to know whats going on, all they need to do is ask. The investigation in this sensitive issue is still ongoing and we do not yet have all the details. We are a town and yes we have many problems but, by working together and trusting each other we can overcome any adversity.

Things are being worked on and discussed daily. If there are questions I am very easy to get ahold of. I'm not sure how it was like 500 years ago but this month is a very busy one and causing things to be sluggish. I personally am asking for some patience here. I am very open to discussing what there is planned for the town. Please come find me and we can talk or send me a courier. Thank you
