We had a meeting Saturday morning
Though not everyone arrived, many were sleeping.

I have asked the council to weigh in on some changes in town, what follows are decisions based on all of the information given to me.

First, in our coming gatherings we must prepare for an election, for how we will be lead, and who will lead us. We are going to need an unbiased and impartial person to count the votes, to prevent corrupt dealings. There has also been a suggestion of having a feast, to celebrate our first year together, and our survival. There will also be, if Karma blesses us, a revealing of a personal project Lairne and myself have been working on.

Second, Town Council meetings will happen at 10 bells, just after breakfast, in the tavern. They will still be public, and will hopefully continue to be a good way to figure out our next moves.

Third, Xiomora has confessed to sending death threats to town officials, and the attempted murder of one of our townsfolk. After much discussion and thought, unless something is to change, she will be punished publicly first thing on our first night. The punishment will be death.

Fourth, I have heard reports of excessive mutilation in town, the corpses left behind after our battles have Been... tampered with and separated, I would advise each of us to avoid such actions, simply given our situation. This activity will however not be made illegal.

Fifth, on the matter of dark worship and forbidden magics, after much debate and consideration, I have decided to increase the restraints on such things. Anyone wishing to study forbidden magics or worship dark gods must gain permission from the council, and have willingly become the designated ward of a townsfolk of good standing. Failure to comply with this will lead to swift punishments.

Feel free to post, or send letters, concerning any questions or comments about these announcements.
I hope all of you have been staying safe in these trying times.

I have read these rules, I feel a bad taste in giving Xiomora the death penalty, I mean I understand, she has been very odd lately yes. She has also been doing things that also makes my heart heavy. I would not want to see her death, but understand the action must take place. There has to be another way to proceed with this punishment?

Regrettably the responses given were in favor of death. It maybe harsh but if you were to have died by her blade in an important confrontation with those who follow the ravager would you not wish swift judgement? We do not make these choices lightly by any means and if there was another way we would act accordingly. These laws are all that separate us from the bandits and undead that plague the night.

Should probably address that I am looking for a suitable husband. I know everyone gets caught up in dark elf politics on the side but this is essentially a big thing...

this Drow Matron of house Dusknamba is looking for a worthy mate for her clan. All applicants must ask permission from the Mayor first. as it is HIS town as well.

I would like to mention that not all of us were in favor of death. My grievances with this are known but democracy to whatever degree has been spoken.

I understand, regrettably, if this has to be done. Then I want to be the one to deliver the swift form that justice needs to place. Xiomora and I have our paths intertwined, and I feel like my heart would rest easier knowing that I was the one to provide the blow rather then someone else. If the council is okay with this kind of request.

Let it be known that I agree with whatever the council decides, but I do have my prefferances. I would prefer that Sans not give that punishment to me, for he is a Phoenix cleric, and I feel it is not right for him to do so. I feel that the person/people I have wronged should carry out my punishment, that way my own heart would be at ease. Of course these are preferences and I will go with whatever the council decides.
