I was wondering about something . How would one go about adopting a young child? Im used to underdark methods which ...are archaic to say the least. I was told to speak with the town magistrate on the matter and that I had to fill out paperwork or something.

At this point in time, systems for cases such as this are in the process of creating a standard operating procedure (SOP).
For now, I will handle requests such as these on a case by case basis. Please either meet with me on the Saturday of the next gathering, or send me a letter with more information.
I need to know the age of the child to be adopted, have a written and signed consent agreement from the birth parents of the child to be adopted (if they are available to do so), and I need to meet with the child and the parent to be to confirm that the nature of the adoption is appropriate. I will ask questions that are to be determined. If the adoption conditions seem satisfactory, I will sign off on adoption papers and assume all responsibility toward the sanctification of the adoption, should a higher power appear with a different SOP in mind.

Ah, how wonderfully charming. I do believe that this may require the desire of a celebration, although it may be a bit premature, but a celebration is due in any case.

Nothing like the heart of a child. I hear it tastes funny, but I wouldn't know. How wonderful to have a mother-like figure whom wishes to dote on a wee child in such a chaotic place. I promise, on pain of dead, that any child in my path will stay my blade and come under my protection. But a few copper in me pockets wouldn't hurt for such services either.

Captain Adrian , this child put a spark back into my eye...and I thank him for that . Hes not what humans would call young but he is a fey and his age in human years makes him a wee child in fey years . Ive already spoken to the young one and he seems very excited about me being his mother.

A temporary process has been put in place.
That said, it should be known that my title is only a carried over formality at this point. There are no officials appointed at this point in time; only candidates. However, if anyone needs anything, or just a face to look to, I will do my best to accommodate while there is no other option.
That said, under the current rule (or lack thereof) and until further notice, Ransom is officially Kora Jindo's son. Congratulations, and thank you for building this relationship.
