The dinner this weekend will be Lemon chicken with a with a cream garlic sauce, (ON, or on the side) It will be served over pasta. dinner will also come with soup and salad. ( chicken and rice ) 

The kings feast will be a large steak, Baked potato, mixed veg. 

breakfast will be .......................... you know breakfast!!!

Breakfast will be served 10- noon.   it is $10.00

Dinner will be served at 6pm. it is $25.00

Kings feast will be served when ever you want ( I need 30 min notice) It is $50.00

And I will have different bar foods ( yes the cheeseburger is coming back ) during the day for in game money

Some have noticed, on the Yearly Package Tier 3 Potion selection list, an entry called “2023 Limited Edition Potion”.  I’ve been asked what is this all about.  Here is all the info:

Originally planned as a one-off potion created by me that will only be available this year and via YP Tier 3.  I have decided I really need help thinking of new potions, so I’m opening the following contest.  In the Q&A forum I have a post for your suggestions for a limited-edition potion.  I will leave this open for submissions until Tuesday February 28, 2023.  I will then pick a potion from the suggestions.  The winning submission will grant the player 5 of the potions.

The potion will not be revealed to players until check in at our first event in April.  No NPCs or Monsters will have access to these potions until they are in game.  Only the purchasers of Tier 3 and the winning submission will have these potions at the start of game.  Once games have started, the potions will be treated as any other IG item.  They can be used, horded, sold, looted, lost, or stolen.  There will not be more created in the future or through the year, they will never expire until they’re used, there will not be a recipe for the potion, they’re limited-edition!

So, potentially, if a Tier 3 purchaser wins the submission contest, they could have up to 10 of these potions if they pick all of them when they buy the package.  Or a non YP player could have 5 of these potions if their submission is selected.  Either way, a mystery potion sounds very exciting to me, I hope you agree and contribute to the contest.

We’ve been at this for over 15 years now, and many of you have asked for additional games.  We will be adding a 5th FULL WEEKEND event for 2023.  To reward you for your patience, the event will gain all attendees DOUBLE CP and DOUBLE MP!!!

April 14-16, 2023 Spring 1
May 19-21, 2023 Spring 2
August 4-6, 2023 Summer (double CP & MP)
September 8-10, 2023 Fall 1
October 13-15, 2023 Fall 2
 
We had to increase event prices for the 2023 season.  It takes quite a bit of money to run a LARP for a full year.  There are camp fees, insurance, website fees, storage/transport of equipment costs, and many little upkeep projects that add up.  We are taking steps to reduce these costs where we can, and after all adjustments, the event prices are as follows.
 
Pre-Pay Discount $120.00 (Due two weeks before event.  Paid online via website)
New Player First event $80.00 (First time playing KB.  Paid online via website or at the door)
Pay at the Door $130.00 

Finally, we will be continuing the Yearly Package deals.  It seems like a large jump from last years pricing, but keep in mind that it is for FIVE events, not 4 as in the past.  Full information on the pricing, bonus items, and skills you can obtain with the various tiers are on the website.

The ESS delay has been completely my fault.  I have decided to give every player that attended 5CP for my failure regarding the surveys.  This 5CP is available now.

If you make the effort to give us a review of the September event, IN YOUR PERSONAL FORUM, I will award you additional CP.  To clarify the additional CP will be awarded after the October Event and will go towards next year's updates.  This must be submitted by Thursday October 20.

Mostly all of you know what we’re looking for in the Event Summary Survey, but here is a quick reminder.

In Game things such as atmosphere, encounters, modules, challenges, and immersion.

Out of Game things such as meetings, check in/out, logistics during event, and Staff/NPC interactions.

Hi Everybody!  Due to a miscommunication on my part we failed to put the link up for letters after the last event.

The link will be under the events tab on the website this Monday through Friday for those that turned in letter cards and coin at the event.

We've added a new tracker to help us organize CP earned for NPCing our events, or those received via exchanges with other games.

We will enter CP into the NPC tracker.  When you update, let us know how much CP you wish to use and we will move it over to your CP tracker for that character.  I will enter the CP as I get the information from the other games.

Remember to tell us at check out which game you wish to be notified for your involvement at one of our events.
